Five ‘Killer Industries’ have taken control of the world and are now much more powerful than any government.
The Big Five are the Banking, Oil, Agribusiness, Media and Pharmaceutical industries that profit from the sale of toxic products.
Their products include petrochemicals, chlorine, fluoride, plastic bottles, fertilisers, pesticides, GMOs, processed foods, tobacco, nuclear radiation, electromagnetic radiation, plastics, microplastics, nanoparticles, vaccines, antibiotics, drugs, fire retardants, pathogens, and debt. These products generate many billions of dollars of profit every year while also directly damaging our health and the health of all life on earth.
While there is a valid case to be made that big corporations are sociopathic and evil (check out the movie “The Corporation”), in reality there is no Us and Them.
These Killer Industries are only evil in as much as they mirror the shadow-side of ourselves. Corporations only have power because we’ve given it to them. We’ve willingly paid them to take responsibility for our health and wellbeing in return for products that have boosted humanity to be a globally connected species.
It’s now time to realise they no longer serve us and disengage from corporate power. Like booster rockets that have burnt long and bright leaving toxic plumes in their wake, we need to jettison corporate control and continue the evolution of consciousness with new infrastructure.
This requires all of us to take back responsibility for our health, wean ourselves off the big brands that have become so embedded in our lives, and co-create local futures and new open-source, distributed peer-to-peer systems backed by a cooperative economy.
And rather than be angry at the death and destruction they have caused, we need to feel sorry for our Corporate Overlords as they crash and burn while we continue on unimpeded.
It is only once we’re free from the toxic shackles of corporate power that we can achieve worldwide wellness and awaken to a whole universe of consciousness right here on earth.
