Let Food Be Thy Medicine

Front-line doctors report HCQ and zinc are effective in prevention and early treatment of COVID-19 because hydroxychloroquine helps zinc get into cells where it blocks viral replication. Yet, HCQ has been banned in many countries around the world and despite the state of ‘Disaster’ that has been declared in Victoria, the Australian TGA has limited HCQ use and is preventing doctors prescribing it for COVID-19 and Queensland doctors face 6 months jail for prescribing it.

While the authorities have made HCQ unavailable, food can be powerful medicine and there are many foods that can provide similar benefits.

My favourite lockdown snack has is a handful of pepitas and dark chocolate-coated goji berries. Pepitas are a good source of zinc, and dark chocolate and berries are high in bioflavonoids such as quercetin, catechin and epicatechin, which act as zinc ionophores. Pepitas and dark chocolate berries are much more delicious and enjoyable than tablets and there are many other delicious food combinations and recipes high in zinc and bioflavonoids.

It is also much more fun to eat berries and chocolate which are packed with micro and macronutrients than swallow pills, yet it is concerning that authorities around the world are denying access to safe and effective therapies. It seems they want us to keep us sick, scared, separated from each other and struggling financially so that we will submit to being tagged, tracked, traced, and policed until we can be genetically modified, sterilised or exterminated using mandated vaccines.

I have spent over 30 years teaching medical students and other healthcare professionals about natural approaches to health and wellness, yet I now find that messages about boosting immunity and enhancing wellness are being heavily suppressed, censored and falsely discredited. I have spent the past few months in lockdown putting together an online course on ‘Waking up to Wellness’ where I cover many home-based treatment and prevention strategies and I will continue to post these strategies here over the coming weeks while I endure being held under house arrest along with 5 million other Victorians in this current state of “Disaster”.
